Taekwondo was developed in 1955 in South Korea The Chang Hon style (commonly referred to as ITF style) is the original martial art developed within the Korean military. Known for its dynamic kicking and powerful striking techniques, it emphasises fitness, flexibility, mental focus and discipline. A common misconception is that Taekwondo is only a sport, on the contrary, Taekwondo has proven its efficiency in battle, including the Vietnam war in hand to hand conflict.

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from Karate, Taekwondo and Muay Thai. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
Heavy focus is made on fitness, pad work and sparring with variations on striking with low section kicks, knees, punches and sweeps.
